I am not sure if I like the 2 blue blocks in there. I was undecided when I started making this quilt if I wanted to venture into the "dark" side. I made a few extras in case I had to omit them. I used Kona Snow for the light and assorted scraps that were gifted to me for the blues. The blacks finish at 6" and I plan to stagger them. I got my inspiration from this quilt (and the desire to use up some light and medium blues).

Plus Quilt
I couldn't take it any longer. I had to know what it was going to look like with my color choices. I thought this would make more of a dent in my blue scraps, but the bin is still packed. Maybe these icy colors will summon the polar vortex back.

Love it! It really is a great symbol of this brutally cold winter :). I rather like the dark blocks in there, maybe throw in a few more and see if you like it better. I think they add interest.
That is a wall full of blocks! I like the darks and would add a few more to scatter about.
I've just had a joyful few minutes, going back through your past several posts, looking at all the wonderful UFOs you've been working on. You're a busy, busy gal with all these projects to finish. Such a variety. Such a blast of color and design.
I see that you describe yourself as an obsessive fabric collector. Is there an official club for us? or are we all just called fabric-aholics? Whatever, I am one too.
Thanks for stopping by my blog so I got a chance to visit yours.
